Walba Residence

The Walba Residence is Located in Boston, MA at the Four Seasons. The client just bought the 1,000SF condo in the four seasons that needed a total renovation.

The condo was a one bedroom that was perfect for the couple but it was out dated from the 80’s and needed updates.

The condo had amazing lighting from the large windows. The client appreciated design and her inspiration was Cathy Kincaid. The client wanted her space to feel light, airy, and romantic.

Since, the space was so small every inch needed to have a wow factor. The proportions had to be perfect from molding details, light fixtures, and flooring.

To keep the space feeling larger, light, and airy, I used Farrow and Ball decorators white for the walls, molding, and ceiling. The molding was hand brushed to have small thin brush strokes to give it character. The herringbone oak floors, brass fixtures, and warm lighting was used to balance out the cool tones that were used. These aspects warmed the space up. We added a beautiful fireplace with a fantastic book case and mantel. The warm tones and fireplace gave it a feeling of romance. This is space came out beautiful.
