Irwin Residence

The Irwin Residence is located in a quiet neighborhood down the street from the beach. They wanted their ultimate dream beach house.

Th interior of the home was completely gutted. I created an open concept floor plan by removing a large fireplace that closed off the kitchen and dining space. The original kitchen had dark heavy wood cabinets and red walls. I removed a full wall to the left of the kitchen to create a centralization around the staircase that makes you circulate through the kitchen, dining and living space. This created a nice flow as well as convenience. A breeze way was also added to connect the new garage. In the breeze way, a half bathroom and laundry room were added. They did not have a bathroom on the first floor which was a goal from the beginning. Upstairs we added dormers, updated the bedrooms, and created small nooks to go with the character of the house.

This house is full of charm when you walk inside!
